Ashley has a dream she’s a superhero flying and having adventures

1. Sydney is shocked by her low test score and shares it with John. She admits she didn’t study as her mom instructed and fears her mom will be mad. 2. John encourages Sydney to tell the truth, explaining that lying isn’t the right choice, even though he too has a bad score. Sydney decides to hide her score from her mom, despite John’s suggestion. 3. At home, Sydney lies to her mom about her score, but feels guilty. She becomes increasingly uneasy as the day goes on. 4. Sydney confesses to her mom, who appreciates her honesty and reassures her. Sydney promises to be truthful in the future. The next day at school, she tells John about coming clean, and they agree to study harder together for the next test.

The story tells of a child and mother who have come into a homeless shelter due to domestic violence in their home. The child is nervous about their new home, but a small, scruffy grey and brown dog named Scarlett welcomes the family and tells them about Quanada house. Quanada house is a home for parents and children that people stay at when their home isn't safe. It is a safe place that looks like a big house with an upstairs that has 5 bedrooms. Throughout the story, Scarlett shows the family their room, the dining room and kitchen, and the playroom. Scarlett the shelter dog helps the child make their bed up in their new room and brings toys to help it feel more like home. The child is sad about leaving their home but scarlett makes them feel better. Then they go downstairs and watch tv and eat a snack in the family room. After they eat, they go upstairs and brush their teeth and go to sleep in their temporary home.

The First Christmas in the Philippines A group of travelers, caught in a fierce storm, found themselves shipwrecked on a beautiful and mysterious island. Among them was Odo, a kind and faithful man who always shared stories of God wherever he went. Meeting the Natives While resting on the beach, the travelers encountered curious but wary villagers. Odo, sensing their fear, knelt and prayed for peace. Miraculously, the villagers’ unease faded, and an elder invited them to share their story. The Story of Christmas Under a grand tree, Odo gathered the villagers and told them the story of Jesus' birth. He spoke of a baby sent by God to bring love, hope, and joy to the world. The villagers, especially the children, were captivated and asked to celebrate this special birth. The First Christmas Celebration The villagers prepared joyfully: children decorated a tree with palm leaves, seashells, and flowers, while the adults cooked a feast of fresh fruits, fish, and rice. Odo taught them a song about Jesus, and together they celebrated under the starry sky. The Gift Exchange Odo encouraged the villagers to exchange gifts made with love. They gave simple, meaningful offerings like woven mats, carved animals, and shiny shells, emphasizing the true spirit of giving. The Lesson of Christmas Odo reminded everyone that Christmas was about love, kindness, and unity. The villagers, touched by his words, vowed to celebrate Christmas every year as a reminder to cherish these values. Odo's Departure As Odo and his friends prepared to leave, the villagers gave him a pouch of seashells as a token of gratitude. Waving goodbye, they promised to carry the spirit of Christmas in their hearts. Ending Note Thus, on December 25, 1324, the first Christmas in the Philippines was celebrated, igniting a tradition of love, kindness, and faith that the villagers passed down through generations.

Maman, je comprends votre inquiétude, rassura la puéricultrice. Vous et le bébé êtes entre de bonnes mains. Nous disposons des équipements et du personnel qualifiés pour prendre soin de vous deux. L’équipe médicale se composait d’une gynécologue, d’une sage-femme, d’un infirmier, d’un pédiatre et d’une puéricultrice. Quant à Hito, il partit quelques instants pour acheter des nécessaires de toilettes, pour Tylaï et le bébé, une chemise de nuit, des sous-vêtements, des couches, des layettes, des bodys, des chaussettes etc… tout ce qu’ils n’eurent le temps de prendre avant de partir de la maison.
