In a peaceful village by a pond lived three best friends: Lulu the Frog, Mimi the Cat, and Didi the Duck. One morning, Lulu found a shiny golden key near the pond. Their first clue was at the Old Oak Tree, where a sign read: “Where the river bends and the lilies bloom, the key will show you the hidden room.” At the river bend, Didi spotted a wooden lily pad with a keyhole. Lulu placed the key inside, and click! A hidden door opened, revealing a tunnel. Opening it together, they found special gifts: a golden crown for Lulu, a velvet pillow for Mimi, and a silver necklace for Didi. The friends returned to their village, sharing the story of their adventure. They learned that teamwork, curiosity, and bravery could unlock any mystery.

Once upon a time, in a sunny park, stood a big, friendly tree named Mr. Tree. The bright sun would shine down onto his green leaves. People walking by would give him water when the ground was dry to get him to grow. But Mr. Tree was doing more than just growing. He was creating and recycling! First, the sunlight powered him up, like a battery. Then, his roots slurped up water from the ground. Sluuuurp! Finally, Mr. Tree pulled in the “bad air,” and mixed it in his leaves. By doing this he made yummy sugar to eat! That’s how Mr. Tree grew taller and taller and taller. But Mr. Tree wasn’t just making food for himself—he was also giving back to the world. As he grew, he would recycle the air, sending out clean air for everyone to breathe. “Here you go!” People, animals, and plants all needed Mr. Tree’s hard work to stay happy and healthy. But one day, Mr. Tree noticed something was wrong. People were burning things like gas to power their cars, factories, and machines, and it was leaking tons and tons of bad air! “Uh-oh, this is a big problem!” Too much bad air traps the Earth, similar to a heated blanket. This makes the planet hotter, called climate change, which is not good for anyone—people, animals, or plants like Mr. Tree. From then on, whenever people walked by, they’d smile and say, “Thank you, Mr. Tree!” And Mr. Tree would smile back, knowing everyone was learning how important trees are. So remember, kids: take care of trees, because they help us breathe and keep the Earth happy and healthy!

Florence the Dachshund, was born in Kentucky. She had brown specks and long ears. Her parents loved her very much. But they could not keep her. Florence was a little scared at first. She barked a soft good-bye to her old family. Florence whined a bit in the car. The ride was long, and she felt sleepy. She wondered what her new home would be like. When she woke up, she was in her new home. At first, Florence was shy and a little sad. But Ariana and Tanner were very kind to her. They showed her around the house. There were lots of toys and even a ball pit. Flo wagged her tail and jumped in. Florence met new family members. Florence felt loved and happy. She realized she had a big family now. It made her feel special. Ariana loved dressing up Florence. She had little outfits for her. She looked stylish and cute! Florence enjoyed the attention and posing for pictures. Tanner loved music. He sang songs with Florence. She howled happily along and wagged her tail to the rhythm. They made a fun duet! It was their special time together. Florence was not sure about baths at first. But she loved the snuggles after. Ariana wrapped her in a warm towel. Florence felt cozy and safe. She enjoyed the gentle rubs. Florence missed her old family sometimes, but she loved her new one. She had everything she needed and realized that family wasn’t blood. This is their first boat trip. Audrey, Daniel and Butch (jack russell) with dad. While on the boat dad pointed out to dolphins and majestic saugulls soaring overhead. Audrey spotted a family of seals while Daniel was trying to cast his fishing line. Their first stop was a secluded cove, sheltered from the wind. Dad dropped anchor, and the children squealed with delight as they jumped into the crystal-clear water for a swim. Butch, naturally, joined in, paddling furiously and chasing after floating seaweed. The water was cool and refreshing, and the underwater world teemed with colorful fish darting between vibrant coral. After their refreshing swim, it was time for lunch. Dad unpacked a picnic basket overflowing with sandwiches, fruit, and juice boxes. They ate their lunch while watching a playful crab scuttle across the rocks. Dad taught Audrey and Daniel how to navigate using a compass and chart, showing them how to identify landmarks and plan their course. Daniel even got to try steering the boat under Dad's watchful eye. Audrey, meanwhile, kept a lookout for marine life, excitedly pointing out every passing bird and fish. As the sun began to set, painting the sky in fiery hues of orange and pink, they headed back to shore. Tired but exhilarated, Audrey and Daniel snuggled up next to their dad, their faces flushed with the sun and filled with the joy of their first boating adventure. Butch, curled up at their feet, let out a contented sigh. They couldn't wait for their next trip on the water!

Aubree is a 4 year old girl from Oceanside, California. She lives with her mommy, daddy, and maltipoo dog named Paddington. Christmas is Aubree’s favorite time of year and she always eagerly awaits the return of her elves on “Sleigh Day,” her family’s special holiday each year on the day after Thanksgiving. Aubree’s elves are named Chippy, Snowflake, Kitty Minnie Sparkle Heart Minnie, and Stripey Blue Eyes. They return to Aubree’s house from the North Pole on the morning of Sleigh Day, arriving in a giant red and gold sleigh, pulled by a giant toy reindeer Sven (the reindeer from Frozen). Aubree’s elves always bring her some gifts on Sleigh Day, usually some Christmas books, cozy pajamas, and a few Christmas themed toys to play with throughout the season. Each night throughout the Christmas season, Aubree’s elves fly back to the North Pole, then return to her home by the morning, always hiding in a different spot. Aubree’s elves are very mischievous and she loves searching for them every morning. Each Sunday throughout the season, her elves leave her a special card or letter along with a fun gift or activity to do with her family, like tickets to see The Nutcracker or to go to Legoland. Aubree’s family loves these special days and calls them “Elf Sundays.” Aubree’s elves stay at her home longer than other children’s elves because they know she loves Christmas so much! They stay until she goes back to school, and then they fly back to the North Pole until they return on Sleigh Day the following year. When they leave, the elves always give her a special parting gift with a card, to make sure she always has special memories of that Christmas season.
